Constellation Brands defined a gap in the market

Constellation Brands, the world's largest wine maker and spirits distributor, needed to create a brand to help sell consumers on an entirely new category of products designed to fill the gap between wine coolers and varietals.

Forward positioned the new product as a "fine wine with a splash of fruit", then crafted the identity cues that now define the category. With Forward's brand strategy, logo design, and package design, the launch of Arbor Mist is now hailed as one of the industry's most successful product introductions in the last 20 years.
