Everyone has their own tricks up their sleeve for how to stretch
budgets to the absolute limit. Desperate times have called for
desperate measures, and it's amazing how crafty we can be when
things get tight.
A brand is created when there's a new story to be told. The
trick is all in how to weave and tell that story.
At the core of any brand or product is its name. Names are the
means by which we identify and categorize the things we experience
in the world, the way we tell our friends about them, the way we
find them, and the way we remember them.
Recently we created an online survey
to help understand consumer mindsets on green marketing, we asked
people to identify "which symbols have the most positive influence
over your purchase decision?"
In our recent online survey, we sought to gauge the
effectiveness of various retailers' green marketing efforts. The
results were both surprising and intriguing.
During this recession, private label is helping put retailers
back in black causing some national brands to see red.
